125 Years of Discovery: The Federal Depository Library Program at Cal

This year marks the UC Berkeley Library’s 125th anniversary of being a part of the Federal Depository Library Program, the program that allows us to receive U.S. government documents and make them available to the public.  To commemorate this anniversary, we have created an exhibit in Doe Library’s Brown Gallery, located just inside the north entrance.  If you are in the UC Berkeley area,  please visit the exhibit.

In addition to the physical piece, we have also created an online exhibit which contains more information on the FDLP and other tidbits related to the physical exhibit, such as full text scans of several documents in the exhibit and U.S. Government videos, including one done by Disney.  The website is:

The exhibit will run until the end of August, 2009.
